Nashua man wanted in connection with Lake Avenue stabbing

MANCHESTER, NH – A Nashua man is wanted in connection with a July 23 stabbing which took place at 356 Lake Ave. at 4:05 p.m. Officers spoke with the victim of the first-degree assault inside of the apartment building immediately following the incident.

The 34-year-old victim was allegedly stabbed by Matthew Jordan, 34, of Nashua. Jordan allegedly stabbed the victim several times in the torso and back so he was immediately transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Jordan is described as 5-feet-11-inches tall, 155 pounds, with blue eyes and blond hair.

A 34-year-old female inside of the apartment sustained a superficial wound as a result of the incident. Detectives prepared an arrest warrant for first-degree assault on Jordan, whose last known address is in Nashua.
