MANCHESTER, NH – Ink Factory Clothing Co. of Claremont, NH, which makes custom T-shirts and embroidery, is producing a special line of T-shirts to highlight essential employees—and will donate $4 for every T-shirt sold to the New Hampshire Food Bank. The T-shirts feature a silhouette of New Hampshire with #Essential stamped on the back and a company logo on the front. Ink Factory Clothing is supporting the New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency. Companies placing an order will receive 25 shirts for $240 and can purchase additional shirts for $9 each. The New Hampshire Food Bank will receive $4 for every shirt sold, a minimum of $100 raised per order, through April.
As a small business, Ink Factory Clothing is also feeling the impact of the COVID-19 public health emergency like so many others.
“We wanted to find an opportunity to not only keep our own staff working but also to do some good at the same time,” said Jeff Barrette, owner, Ink Factory Clothing Co. “Given the recent events, hunger has become at the forefront of our minds. We realize the New Hampshire Food Bank has been under a lot of pressure and because of that we are eager to support them through this project.”
“This is a unique opportunity for companies around the state to recognize the efforts of their frontline workers, while supporting the New Hampshire Food Bank at the same time,” said Eileen Liponis, executive director, New Hampshire Food Bank. “We are grateful to Ink Factory Clothing Co. for recognizing the need here in New Hampshire and taking action to support us during such a critical time.”
With the demand for food on the rise, the New Hampshire Food Bank, which receives no state or federal funding for food distribution, has had to increase food purchasing, double meal production in its Recipe for Success Culinary Job Training Kitchen and most recently brought in the New Hampshire National Guard to assist with sorting food and packaging shelf stable food boxes for distribution.
All essential companies are encouraged to participate in ordering T-Shirts. Companies can choose their shirt color, sizes and include their logo. Order forms are available at https://www.inkfactoryclothing.com/new-page.
