Nov. 11: Honoring all veterans with a thanks and activities at 2 locations

MANCHESTER, NH — On Nov. 11 VNA Hospice will host a ceremony to honor veterans at The Courville at Manchester at 10 a.m. and at Hanover Hill Health Care at 2 p.m.

All veterans will receive a certificate of appreciation from the VNA. Our “Hearts in Harmony Singers” will sing patriotic songs and all of the military branch theme songs. Boy Scout Troop 99, from Goffstown, will conduct a flag folding ceremony. The meanings of the 13 folds of the flag will be explained with each individual fold.

VNA Social Workers Kathy Thonis, Mike Joyal and Jenn Rydeen will reach out to all our other hospice patient veterans and present them with a certificate.
