MANCHESTER, NH – A pedestrian was killed Sunday following an accident on Valley Street.
On January 4th, 2026 at approximately 6:18 p.m., officers from Manchester Police Department responded to the area of 917 Valley Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
A Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 16-year-old male from Manchester, who did not sustain injuries from the crash, was located by police. The pedestrian was identified as an 81-year-old man from Manchester who sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Valley Street just east of Cypress Street when the crash occurred.
