MANCHESTER, NH โ Community leader, pastor, educator, and former professional athlete Phil Tuttle has announced his candidacy for the Manchester School Board representing Ward 1 in the upcoming 2025 municipal election.
โItโs truly an honor to run for school board in Ward 1,โ said Tuttle. โIโve been pastoring The Zeal Movement here in Manchester for the last seven years. Every week, I say our mission: โWeโve been called to adopt the city of Manchester and to rewrite its future.โ I canโt think of a better way to do that than by investing in the next generation.โ
Tuttle and his wife, Kaylin, are raising their four children in Manchester. Their family uses the Education Freedom Account (EFA) grants to homeschool their children while they also attend the Lion of Judah Learning Center, a homeschool cooperative hosted by their church.
โThere are so many great ways to educate children in this city,โ Tuttle said. โEvery child deserves a great education โ whether their family just moved here or has been here for generations. For the amount of funding our schools receive, we know this isnโt a funding issue. I look forward to serving on the School Board to address the real challenges and ensure Manchester delivers the best education in New Hampshire.โ
