BEDFORD, NH – A private contractor doing work on the on-ramp to the F.E. Everett Turnpike struck a guardrail on the ramp from Ray Wieczorek Parkway leading onto the Everett northbound.
The body of the truck separated spilling salt and sand on the highway and required an extended effort to remove it from the roadway.
The mishap caused the ramp to be closed intermittently as tow trucks removed pieces of the overturned truck.
Towing was done by Blais Towing and Bailey Towing. NH Department of Transportation assisted in the clean-up effort.
