MANCHESTER, N.H. โ€“ The Manchester Police Department Special Investigations Unit have arrested a man connected with the sale of an illegal drug called Spice.

On Tuesday, the unit released a statement around the arrest of 51-year-old William Gamble.

In July, detectives discovered that Gamble was known to sell Spice, a laboratory-made substance combining herbs with chemicals similar to, but stronger than, those found in marijuana.

Working with an undercover informant, bags obtained from Gamble were tested in a lab and confirmed to be Spice.

Gamble was taken into custody on August 19. He was charged with alleged sale of a controlled drug.

Anyone accused of a crime is innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
