A Manchester man was charged with felony reckless conduct following a road rage incident Saturday night on Route 101 during which he allegedly fired his gun at another motorist.
According to State Police, on September 6, 2014 at approximately 9:15 p.m. Trooper First Class Gary Ingham responded to a call from a woman who said someone had fired a gun at her while she was driving on Route 101 in Exeter. Ingham spotted a vehicle that matched the description given of the driver and vehicle, heading eastbound in Hampton, east of Landing Road. Ingham initiated a motor vehicle stop and subsequently arrested the driver, Timothy W. High, 29, of Manchester.
During a search of the vehicle a Smith & Wesson 9mm semi-automatic handgun was found. Upon further investigation, Ingham was able to determine that High did fire the handgun on Route 101 while involved in a road rage incident with an female driver, whose name was not released.
High was charged with felony reckless conduct, and he is due to appear in the 10th Circuit Court-Brentwood District on September 8, 2014. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact Ingham at New Hampshire State Police Troop-A barracks at (603) 223-8490.
