MANCHESTER, NH – Police Detectives continue to investigate a burglary and assault that took place on Jan. 23 on North Adams Street.

The victim was confirmed to be Sarah Lynch, former principal of Webster Elementary School, who was fired by the district in September. Lynch has filed a lawsuit against the district for wrongful termination.

Police on Thursday continued to seek leads in the case, and are hopeful someone in the vicinity of the 100 block of North Adams Street with a surveillance system may have captured footage of the suspect walking in the neighborhood between 11 and 11:30 a.m.

Anyone in the area of North Adams Street between Clark and Carpenter streets should contact Detective Scott Ardita at 603-792-5506.

Officers responded to Lynch’s residence at around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday where they learned that a man unknown to Lynch entered her home and, once confronted by Lynch, assaulted her.
