MANCHESTER, NH – Companies were dispatched in the area of Union and Laural streets for a building fire. Upon arrival, Engine 11 reported smoke coming from the roof of a 2 story residential structure. Companies made an aggressive attack on the fire, knocking it down quickly on the rear second floor porch. While suppression efforts were underway, other crews searched and cleared the occupancy. Fire damage was limited to the rear of the second floor apartment and roof area.

- Special Circumstances: Congested area of the city. Other structures and overhead wires made for limited access.
- Fire Cause: At this time the fire remains under investigation, however there is no evidence, physical or circumstantial to suggest an intentionally set fire
