MANCHESTER, N.H. โ€“ Quirk Chevrolet Buick GMC officially announced a $1,000 donation to Manchester East Soccer in a ceremony at Padden Field on Monday.

The donation was the latest of many by the Quirk family of auto dealerships to various youth sports programs across New England.

โ€œQuirk likes to give back to the community and youth sports are a great way to get involved since they help get kids active and teach teamwork,โ€ said Quirk Spokesperson Joe Christmas.

Quirk has helped Manchester East Soccer specifically for over ten years now. This yearโ€™s donation will be used for soccer

Manchester East Soccer Vice President Dan Ercha says that Quirk has also donated equipment and hosted soccer clinics in the past as well in addition to their donations.

โ€œAny money we can get is great for the league. This league helps out kids and soccer development here in Manchester, so every bit helps out.โ€ย  โ€œQuirk has always been very generous to us.โ€
