MANCHESTER, NH โย โ Saint Anselm College and The Moore Center announce a new partnership, MooreTOGETHER, which began at the start of the fall 2025 semester with the launch of The Moore Center Fellows Program. Throughout the semester, on Tuesdays and Fridays, individuals served by The Moore Center, along with their staff, will be on campus to engage in college life through social and educational activities with Saint Anselm students.
โThe Moore Center Fellows program reflects the heart of our Benedictine mission and our commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships,โ stated Joseph Favazza, Ph.D., president of Saint Anselm College. โThis partnership with The Moore Center aligns with our shared values and vision for a more inclusive and compassionate community.โ
MooreTOGETHER seeks to remove the stigma and biases experienced by individuals with disabilities by creating opportunities for members of our communities to learn and grow together both on and off campus. These opportunities could include initiatives such as experiential learning opportunities, advocacy and educational initiatives leading to positive community change, and workforce development.
โThis new partnership will create a community enriched by their unique abilities, diverse backgrounds and individual interests, but united in their desire to live, work, play and learn in a society where everyone feels accepted and included,โ said Jen Meyer, vice president of The Moore Center.
The partnership is co-sponsored by the Meelia Center for Community Engagement and the Jean School of Nursing and Health Sciences; in collaboration with the Nursing, Sociology and Social Work, Psychology, and Community and Public Health programs; the Collegeโs Athletics Department; and AVI FoodSystems, the Collegeโs food vendor.
Based in Manchester, The Moore Center is a state and regional innovator with more than 50 years of experience in helping people become productive, fulfilled members of the community. Working closely with each individual, The Moore Center identifies unique needs and creates individualized programs to enhance that personโs quality of life and the richness of the community as a whole.
โThe Moore Center Fellows initiative is a living example of our Benedictine expression of love, community, and hospitality,โ shared Nicole Lora, director of the Meelia Center for Community Engagement. โWe are thrilled to welcome new members of the Anselmian community.โ
