MANCHESTER, NH — A public forum focused on education issues has been scheduled for Sept. 9 inviting all five mayoral candidates to discuss the future of Manchester schools.
The forum, sponsored by the Manchester Education Association in collaboration with the Granite State Organizing Project’s Young Organizers United, Every Child Matters in New Hampshire, and the YWCA, will be held at Memorial High School from 6-8 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
The city’s primary election is scheduled for Sept. 15. Candidates include Mayor Ted Gatsas, Patrick Arnold, Joyce Craig, Glenn Ouellette and Jawed Alibaba Shaikh.
