A nurse from New Hampshire and her child, kidnapped nearly two weeks ago while working with a faith-based educational mission in Haiti, are safe and have been released, according to an update on the organization’s website, El Roi Haiti.

The property the house was built on was granted to Edward Hilton in 1631 by King Charles I. Hilton, an Englishman, first settled on what’s now Hilton Point, in nearby Dover, in 1623.
