Turning much cooler the middle of next week!

High pressure that produced a nice last day of summer moves farther offshore today, resulting in increasing humidity and risk of spot showers. Fall arrives at 3:20 this afternoon with highs in the mid-70s.

Large high-pressure over New England that gave us great weather for the last weekend of summer will still be in control today. Sunshine and low humidity with temperatures in the mid-70s today along with cool conditions tonight with temperatures near 50.

The last weekend of summer will be a nice one. The sunniest day will be Sunday with temperatures both days above the normal high of 75 degrees.

A coastal low off the South Carolina coast will slowly track north and maintain clouds across New Hampshire today with cool temperatures. This offshore low will recurve toward Atlantic Canada as high pressure builds in for the last weekend of summer.

Weak high pressure builds into northern New Hampshire. The cold front that brought thunderstorms last night will stall over southern New England giving us a mostly cloudy sky today. It will be cooler but still humid, but not as muggy as yesterday.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are increasingly likely this afternoon and evening as a cold front crosses New Hampshire. Damaging winds will be the primary threat followed by severe hail and heavy rainfall, along with the potential for a few tornadoes.

High pressure today will move to our east allowing a warm front to produce thunderstorms tonight. Tomorrow will be very warm & humid as a cold front approaches New Hampshire producing strong thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and night.

Low pressure that brought some rain overnight moves out. High pressure takes over to give us a mix of sun and clouds today and tomorrow.
