Stabbing victim identified, death ruled homicide

CONCORD, NH – The Attorney General’s office on Tuesday released more information in the May 18 stabbing death of a city man outside a South Willow Street convenience store.

Christopher Marcoux, 25, of Manchester, was identified as the victim of the stabbing, which took place at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Monday.  An autopsy was conducted Tuesday and the Chief Medical Examiner has determined that the cause of death was a stab wound to the abdomen, with the manner of death being a homicide.

The investigation into Marcouxโ€™s death is ongoing.

Based upon the investigation so far, authorities say there is no known threat to the general public. 

Additional information will be released as it becomes available while protecting the integrity of the investigation, the Attorney General’s office said in a follow-up press release issues Monday afternoon.
