
NASHUA, NH – On May 12, 2026, the Nashua Police Department arrested Joshua Corbett, 36, of 217 Naticook Road, Merrimack, on a felony warrant. Corbett has been charged with the following offenses:
- Second Degree Assault (Class B Felony)
- Conduct After an Accident- Personal Injury (Class B Felony),
- Operating After Certification as a Habitual Offender (Class B Felony),
- Driving After Revocation or Suspension- Personal Injury (Class B Felony),
- Driving Without Given Proof (Class A Misdemeanor).
Manchester Police and the U.S. Marshals Service assisted Nashua Police in taking Corbett into custody.

In April of 2026, the Nashua Police Department responded to the area of White Oak Drive for an individual lying in the roadway. It was discovered that the victim was struck by a vehicle, and the other person involved had left the scene. The victim of this incident was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division were assigned to further this investigation. As a result of their investigation, Detectives determined that Corbett was responsible for this hit-and-run incident.
At approximately 12:30 p.m. on May 12, Manchester Police officers responded to the area of 76 Fremont St., Manchester, to assist federal and local law enforcement agencies attempting to take Corbett into custody. Corbett had an active arrest warrant out of Nashua District Court related to the hit-and-run.

One day earlier, on May 11, U.S. Marshals had positively identified Corbett as a wanted person, and a pursuit began in the Home Depot parking lot in Merrimack on Mallard Lane. When officers attempted to make contact, Corbett fled on foot, disappearing into the dense brush bordering the shopping center.
With the assistance of the Merrimack and Manchester Police Departments, as well as the U.S. Marshal’s Service, Corbett was placed under arrest in Manchester on May 12. He was scheduled to be arraigned at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on May 13, 2026, at 1 p.m.
