MANCHESTER, N.H. – With time running out before Ward 6 voters decide on their next Alderman, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu has endorsed Sebastian Sharonov to fill the seat vacated by Elizabeth Moreau.

“The families of Ward 6 will be well-served by Sebastian, who offers new leadership and a commitment to better days ahead for Manchester,” said Sununu.

He joins Moreau, now Hillsborough County Register of Probate, as well as Executive Councilor Ted Gatsas, Ward 6 State Representatives Will Infantine and Larry Gagne.

In 2020, Ward 6 voters supported Sununu by a nearly three-to-one margin.

“I am extremely grateful for, and humbled by, Governor Sununu’s endorsement,” said Sharonov. “During the debate yesterday, we discussed the City’s relationship with the state government and the dire need to improve the relationship, so that it works for Manchester. As Ward 6 Alderman, I will work to encourage Mayor Craig as well as the rest of the Board to dramatically improve collaboration with Governor Sununu and the state legislature to get the citizens of Manchester the help that they need.”

Election Day is Tuesday, May 4. Polls are located at Henry J. McLaughlin Middle School at 290 South Mammoth Road from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
