HOOKSETT, NH – A city man was cited for negligent operation of his truck after a rollover crash near Exit 10 on Interstate 93 in which a trailer loaded with concrete blocks tied up traffic and left the driver with minor injuries.
NH State Police responded to the crash on July 20, 2015 at approximately 1:07 p.m. Joseph Lacerda, 40, was driving a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe and was hauling a closed trailer loaded with concrete blocks when he lost control of the SUV, causing both the SUV and trailer to spin out and roll off the highway into the right hand shoulder.
Due to the crash, I-93 was restricted to two lanes for approximately an hour and a half while the vehicle and trailer were removed. Lacerda was cited for negligent operation of a motor vehicle and was transported to CMC hospital for minor injuries.
Assisting at the scene was Hooksett Fire Department, New Hampshire DOT, Hooksett Police Department, Troopers from State Police Troop G and Eastern Towing.
