Stand up. Speak up. It’s your turn.

Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans promised to bring down the cost of gas.

They lied.

As of March 17, the average Granite Stater is paying around $3.55 per gallon. That means the parent driving a minivan full of kids is shelling out more than $71 for a fill-up, and costing the contractor driving a pick-up truck to the job site more than $100.

Congressman Chris Pappas knows that working Granite Staters are being squeezed, and rising gas prices are just one piece of the larger affordability crisis. Thatโ€™s why he introduced the Gas Prices Relief Act of 2026, which would suspend the national gas tax until October and provide immediate relief for New Hampshire.

We shouldnโ€™t have to pay for reckless military conflict at the pump. And we canโ€™t afford to send a politician to Washington who is out of touch with what it costs to live here.

Thatโ€™s the difference in this Senate race โ€” John Sununu built a career in Washington siding with Big Oil while families here struggled with rising costs. Granite Staters are counting every dollar, but Sununu has pushed for the same policies driving up prices instead of fighting to bring them down

We donโ€™t need another out of touch politician in the Senate. We need someone focused on lowering costs, taking on corporate price gouging, and putting New Hampshire first. Chris Pappas has done that in Congress, and heโ€™ll do it in the Senate. Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m proud to support his campaign.

Rep. Patty Cornell is a member of the NH House of Representatives, representing Manchester Ward 11, District 22.
