Holiday Fair & Silent Auction, The First Church of Nashua, Nashua, NH – The First Church Holiday Fair and Silent Auction will be held on Friday, Nov. 7 from 4 pm – 7 pm and Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 am – 2 pm. Enjoy homemade goodies/sweets, food to go, gift baskets, craft items, puzzles and so much more…New this year! Children can visit with Santa on Saturday between 11am-1pm. November Reading to Rescues, Humane Society for Greater Nashua, Nashua, NH – Come read to shelter pets at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua! PLEASE NOTE: Registration closes at 12PM on Friday, Nov. 7. Youths ages 4-13 (accompanied by a parent/guardian) are invited to participate in a reading session at the shelter where they will receive a “Certificate of Compassion” and a goodie bag! This on-site education program offered by HSFN benefits readers and rescues by providing socialization for the shelter pets and reading practice for kids in front of a non-judgmental audience.
