Holiday Fair & Silent Auction, The First Church of Nashua, Nashua, NH โ The First Church Holiday Fair and Silent Auction will be held on Friday, Nov. 7 from 4 pm – 7 pm and Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 am – 2 pm. Enjoy homemade goodies/sweets, food to go, gift baskets, craft items, puzzles and so much more…New this year! Children can visit with Santa on Saturday between 11am-1pm. Embellish Me Exhibition Opening, Currier Museum of Art, Manchester, NH โ Join us for an exuberant and colorful party celebrating the opening of Embellish Me: Works from the Collection of Norma Canelas Roth and William Roth. United Way of Greater Nashua presents Care-E-Oke, Nashua Center for the Arts, Nashua, NH โ United Way Care-E-Oke returns! YMCA of Greater Nashua Fall Craft Fair, Nashua YMCA, Nashua, NH โ Join us for family friendly fun and holiday shopping โ all while helping to raise money for the Nashua YMCA at our Annual Fall Craft Fair! November Reading to Rescues, Humane Society for Greater Nashua, Nashua, NH โ Come read to shelter pets at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua! PLEASE NOTE: Registration closes at 12PM on Friday, Nov. 7. Youths ages 4-13 (accompanied by a parent/guardian) are invited to participate in a reading session at the shelter where they will receive a “Certificate of Compassion” and a goodie bag! This on-site education program offered by HSFN benefits readers and rescues by providing socialization for the shelter pets and reading practice for kids in front of a non-judgmental audience. Readers may bring their books from home, or borrow one from the shelter’s lending library. Four 30-minute sessions are available between 11 am- 12:30 pm on Sunday, Nov. 9. More info here.
