This weekend promises a flurry of fun ways to send off September and bring in autumn! This Saturday is jam-packed with fairs and festivals to enjoy with friends or family. We dare you NOT to savor the start of the fall season…

Sept. 25-28

Deerfield Fair, 34 Stage Rd, Deerfield, NH โ€“ Welcome Back! The Deerfield Fair Association is proud to announce the dates of our 2025 Fair, Thursday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 28. New Englandโ€™s Oldest Family Fair is back with all of your traditional activities and attractions. We look forward to seeing all of our friends again! 148 YEARS OF AGRICULTURAL FAMILY FUN! The fair will take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm and on Sunday from 8 am to 7 pm.


Sept. 25

Cemetery Safari with Jeff Belanger, Nashua Public Library, Nashua, NH โ€“  This program is a must-see for anyone who will eventually die! Jeff Belanger Emmy-nominated host and producer of the show “New England Legends” takes you on a journey from the oldest burial rituals through modern times. We’ll explore funerary art throughout the ages, see funny and memorable epitaphs, funeral customs, cemetery oddities and hear the stories behind a few haunted boneyards for good measure. This program will take place on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 6 pm – 7 pm.

Oktoberfest Party, Pembroke City Limits, Pembroke, NH โ€“ This Thursday, September 25 at 5 pm, join us for an Oktoberfest celebration! Feathered Friend Brewing will be joining us. And the rumor is true, we will have flights! Come try out all our beer options!

ITโ€™S NOT THE YEARS, ITโ€™S THE MILEAGE โ€“ celebrating 20 years of Slam Free or Die, Stark Brewing Company, Manchester, NH โ€“ On Thursday, Sept. 25, 6 pm – 10 pm, Slam Free Or Die – Poetry Open Mic & Slam continues its popular open mic poetry series at Stark Brewing Company. This week, there will be a special event: IT’S NOT THE YEARS, IT’S THE MILEAGE – celebrating 20 years of Slam Free or Die! Because this is a special event, there will be a $5 cover and this is an all-ages show.


Sept. 26

Party On! Live at the Electric Pheasant, The Nash Casino, Nashua, NH โ€“ Let’s party at The Nash Casino! Party rock, pop, and country hits to keep you singing and dancing all night long! And maybe you’ll come out a winner as well! This event will take place on Friday, Sept. 26, starting at 8 pm.


Sept. 27

“Seas” by local artist Kevin J. Kintner.

Coffee & Art at The Beacon, Manchester, NH – Come for a morning of community centered around artist Kevin J. Kintner’s new exhibition of 15 works, “Seas,” from 8 a.m. to noon at The Beacon Building, 814 Elm St., Manchester. Enjoy some coffee from William & Son and meet the artist.

Sheehan-Basquil Park Cleanup Day, Sheehan-Basquil Park, Manchester, NH โ€“ Join us for a park clean up! The Office of Youth Services, the Manchester Youth Council, and Parks & Recreation are teaming up to host a Sheehan-Basquil Park Clean-Up on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9 am โ€“ 1 pm. This is a great opportunity to give back, build community, and make a difference together! 27th Annual Winchester NH Pickle Festival, Main Street, Winchester, NH โ€“ The 27th Annual Winchester NH Pickle Festival will be held this year on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 am โ€“ 4 pm.
