Lots of clouds after an early-morning shower, creating breezy, warm conditions. It’s a perfect day with a high of 65 degrees (though it feels a bit cooler at 63). Enjoy the gentle southwest winds blowing at 10-20 mph—ideal for a stroll or some outdoor fun!ness to the air. Perfect weather to grab a light jacket and enjoy the outdoors!

When will the cherry blossoms in DC hit peak bloom?


Experts say it’s just around the corner. The National Park Service says Washington, D.C.’s famous Yoshino cherry trees could hit peak bloom in just a day or two. Experts note that weather patterns in late winter and early spring play a big role in when about 70% of the blossoms open around the Tidal Basin.

Elevations for summits above 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Mountain peaks will be hidden with rain and snow expected. Temperatures will reach the lower 40s, with west winds at 35 to 45 mph, and stronger gusts of 50 to 70 mph above 5000 feet. There’s an 80 percent chance of precipitation, and wind chills could drop to zero.

Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: The summits will be hidden, with a chance of morning snow followed by rain. Highs will reach the mid-40s, with west winds blowing 20 to 30 mph and gusts up to 70 mph. There’s a 90 percent chance of precipitation, and wind chills could make it feel as cold as 10 degrees above.
