After a midweek surge of summer-like temperatures in New England, more chill and even snowflakes are expected this weekend!
Temperatures reminiscent of July will be followed by a sharp cooldown, bringing showers, gusty winds, and potentially wet snow to some of the higher peaks in the White Mountains this weekend.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy. Low 52 Winds: NNW 5-15 mph

Northwest winds will blow at 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph. The chance of rain is 50 percent.

Water Temperature: 52 degrees. According to the USCG, when the water temperature is below 60 degrees, an average submerged person could lose dexterity within minutes and be unable to accomplish simple tasks like buckling a life jacket or operating a radio.
Rip Current Risk: Low.

Weirs Beach Today: Northwest winds from 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph. Waves are between 2 to 4 feet. It will be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers. Not as warm, with highs in the upper 60s and a water temperature of 56 degrees.
