Trinity’s Edokpolo wins HJ, second in LJ at UNH track meet

    DURHAM, NH — Trinity High senior Rere Edokpolo continued his strong season with a first and second place showing at the multiple team meet hosted by UNH on Sunday.

    Local participants included Trinity, Central, West and Memorial.

    Local Top Six finishers:

    TRINITY

    GIRLS

    • Sophomore Isabel Foden placed 4th in the 1000 meters in 3:39.65.
    • The 4x160m relay team of Abiem, Bouchard, Foden and Wani placed 5th in 1:41.16.

    BOYS

    • Senior Rere Edokpolo won the high jump with a best leap of 5-10. He also placed 2nd in the long jump with a leap of 18-11.25.
    • Junior Nick Lenti placed 6th in the 600 meters in a time of 1:36.32.
    • The 4×160 relay team of Durepo, E. Edokpolo, R. Edokpolo and Locke placed 6th in 1:21.94.
    • Junior Davey Durepo placed 5th in the high jump, clearing 5-6.

    MEMORIAL

    GIRLS

    • Freshman Alison Meija-Miranda was 8th in the 1000 meters 3:53.10.
    • The 4x400m relay team of K. Rodriguez, Jackson, Pallas and H. Rodriguez placed 4th in 5:36.80.
    • Senior Hannah Rodriguez placed 5th in the long jump with a leap of 15-00.75.

    BOYS

    • Freshman Gavin Fournier placed 3rd in the 55m hurdles in a time of 9.63 seconds.
    • Junior Blake Bickford placed second in the 1000 meters in 2:54.38, just .04 seconds out of 1st.
    • The 4×400 relay team of Rosado, Sloper, Leonard and Bickford placed 5th in 4:06.56.
    • The 4x160m relay team of Olanrewaju, Rosado, Fournier and Bedum placed 5th in 1:20.51.

    CENTRAL

    GIRLS

    • Junior Blake Spencer placed 6th in the 600 meters in 2:05.27.
    • Junior Angela Censeca placed 2nd in the 300m in 45.21.
    • The 4x160m relay team of Cenesca, Sarmiento, Barton and Becker placed 4th in 1:35.36.
    • Junior Marley Oates placed 4th in the high jump, clearing 4-6.

    BOYS

    • Junior Cesar Flahn placed 4th in the 55m in 6.84 seconds.
    • Sophomore Liam Patten placed 4th in the 600 meters in 1:32.05.
    • Senior Kaedin Gagne placed 2nd in the 300m in 38.73.
    • The 4x400m relay team of Patten, Johnson, Montmini and Venator placed 4th in 3:59.20.
    • The 4×160 relay team of Flahn, Ntikala, Silva and Gagne placed 3rd in 1:18.12.
    • Senior Exauce Ntikala placed 3rd in the long jump with a leap of 18-9.75.
