Feb. 6: Shaheen to discuss Greenland’s strategic importance and future of Trans-Atlantic Alliance


MANCHESTER, NH — On Friday, Feb. 6, the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire (WACNH) is holding a discussion with U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) examining evolving dynamics in U.S.–Danish relations, the strategic importance of Greenland, and implications for NATO and trans-Atlantic cooperation. This community conversation will provide essential insight and context on current foreign policy debates affecting global stability.

A moderated conversation is expected to focus on Greenland’s emerging strategic role in global security, U.S. alliances within NATO and the broader trans-Atlantic partnership, and impacts of geopolitical competition on regional and global stability.

The event will be held at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m., with the event expected to last from 10-11 a.m.
