MANCHESTER, NH – Police have identified the victim and driver in the tragic Jan. 7 pedestrian accident near Market Basket.
Katerina Simons, 26, of Hooksett, was struck by a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Ruben Rosario, 27, of Manchester. Rosario was not injured.

Ms. Simons was transported to the Elliot Hospital immediately following the crash where she remained in the ICU until the following day when she was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing, and no other information is being released, police said.
