MANCHESTER, NH – Filling up the empty retail locations in any city is a daunting but vital task – having a vibrant city means finding the highest and best use for the spaces where people gather to eat, drink, explore and be merry. We want to know what your vision is for these two vacancies.

If you have questions or would like to see one of these spaces in person, contact econdev@manchester.gov

Looking for something a little different? There are plenty of great retail spaces on the city’s list of hot properties. Call at 603- 624-6505 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or stop by the Manchester Economic Development Office (MEDO) at City Hall.

This week there are two available locations in the spotlight.

  • 22 Hanover St. This retail space is situated on the same block as the renowned Palace Theatre and takes advantage of impressive foot traffic on Hanover Street with over 2,600 people per day passing by. The space is currently conjoined with another storefront but will soon be separated into an independent unit with access to a basement for extra storage. Among the existing street-level tenants are a diverse group of businesses including the Greater Manchester Chamber, a beauty salon, a bar, a paint studio, a screen-printing shop and a specialty shop featuring items from Greece.
High-profile location in the middle of South Willow Street with heavy traffic not far from the I-93 Mall of NH exchange.
  • 902 South Willow St. – Elusive 1200-square-foot space nestled right on the main retail shopping drag – South Willow Street. Prime location, with T Mobile, AT&T, Chipotle, and Cellular One anchoring this strip center. An average of 30,000+ cars daily, this spot is centrally located among many national retailers.
