MANCHESTER, NH – The M&T Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic arm of M&T Bank (NYSE:MTB), announced it has awarded $30,000 to Webster House Children’s Home. The grant is part of the 30 & 30 Initiative in which 30 organizations across the bank’s footprint received $30,000 to fight homelessness and develop affordable housing in low- to moderate-income communities. The 30 & 30 Initiative was launched in commemoration of the foundation’s 30th anniversary.
“Webster House is honored to be a recipient of M&T Charitable Foundation’s 30 & 30 Initiative,” said CEO Michelle O’Malley. “While we receive funding from the State for the children in our care, it does not cover all of our expenses including required maintenance, educational supplies, activity expenses and independent living experiences such as driver’s ed classes. We are so grateful to M&T Bank Charitable Foundation for their support.”
For 140 years Webster House has provided a safe, supportive environment to children in our community who are unable to live at home. Webster House provides a home environment where structure, safety, love, caring, respect and stability exist.
