Dry Stretch Continues

A stagnant weather pattern is set to limit rainfall across much of New England, increasing fire risks and putting stress on vegetation. A persistent blocking pattern has disrupted the usual west-to-east flow of storm systems across the eastern half of the U.S., and this setup is expected to keep most areas dry through the last week of summer and most likely into the weekend into the first week of Fall.
Weather Patterns We’re Watching
The weather for the first day of astronomical fall, next Monday at 2:19 PM, is expected to be mostly sunny and very warm with a high of 80 degrees.
