A mix of sleet and freezing rain this morning, with cloudy skies for the rest of the day. High around 39, feeling more like 34, with northwest winds at 5 to 10 mph.


Winter Weather Advisory

A Winter Weather Advisory is in place until 10 a.m., with up to two inches of snow, a tenth of an inch of sleet, and up to two-tenths of an inch of ice expected. Mixed precipitation is likely this morning, and temperatures will stay below freezing. These hazardous conditions could make the morning commute tricky.

Elevations for summits above 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Summits will be hidden with snow likely in the morning and a chance of more snow (2-4″) in the afternoon. Temperatures will peak in the upper 20s, with southwest winds around 15 mph shifting to the northwest at about 25 mph later on. Gusts could reach up to 45 mph, and thereโ€™s a 70 percent chance of snow. Wind chills may drop to as low as 3 degrees above zero.

Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Summits will be hidden with snow likely in the morning. Temperatures will reach the lower 30s, with southwest winds around 10 mph shifting to the northwest in the afternoon and gusts up to 35 mph. Thereโ€™s a 70 percent chance of snow.
