
AUBURN, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will be closing Exit 2 on-ramp from Hooksett Road to Route 101 Westbound in Auburn, from Sunday evening April 26, 2026, to Friday May 1, 2026.
To support the pavement preservation and ramp reconstruction work on Route 101, the Exit 2 Westbound On Ramp will be closed, and a detour implemented. Drivers will be detoured to Route 101 Exit 2 On-ramp (Eastbound), then directed to Route 101 Exit 3 (Eastbound) Off-ramp. From there, proceed to Old Manchester Rd, then a left onto Old Candia Rd, onto Exit 3 Westbound, and back to Route 101 Westbound, (7.9 miles, 9 minutes).
Road Users should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all message boards and posted signs. Road users are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.
Pike Industries from Belmont, NH is the general contractor for this $15.7 M Federal Resurfacing Program project which is expected to finish in September 2026.
