Temperatures will range from 13 to 23 degrees, with northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph. Above 5000 feet, winds will start near 60 mph, easing to around 45 mph in the afternoon, with gusts reaching up to 80 mph. Wind chills could drop as low as 20 below.
Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: The morning will start with summits hidden by clouds, but skies will turn partly sunny later. Temperatures will reach the lower 20s, with northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts up to 65 mph. Wind chills could drop to as low as 8 below.
