A city man was charged with prowling after a brief foot chase with an assist from a Manchester police dog, Bud.
At about 8:30 a.m. Manchester Police Patrolman Ray Lamy and Officer Jake Tyler apprehended James Johnson, 20, of Manchester, following a brief pursuit on Bismark Street.
Johnson is charged with prowling/loitering and resisting arrest.
