Woman dead, driver sought in fatal hit-and-run


MANCHESTER, NH – A woman has died as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident, and an arrest warrant has  been issued for the driver. 

On September 17, 2025 at approximately 6:40 p.m., Manchester Police responded to the Taco  Bell at 1050 Second Street in regards to a car versus pedestrian accident. Arriving officers  located a 60-year-old woman in the parking lot suffering from life-threatening injuries. The woman was immediately taken to a local hospital, where she later passed away. 

The investigation revealed that the woman had been hit by a vehicle and the driver fled the scene. Police were able to identify the driver as 27-year-old Maria Camila Posada Canizales of  Manchester. A warrant was issued for her arrest Thursday afternoon on the charge of conduct after an accident – felony.
