Police report that Farley was “acting hysterically” and “yelling profanities” at no one in particular, and appeared to be under the influence of something. Officer Andre Smith and Healy attempted to gather information from Farley but she was “uncooperative.” Officer Cornacchia spoke with a resident of 111 Tory Road and he told police that he answered the door when Farley knocked because she claimed she needed help.

The homeowner stated he had never seen Farley before the brief interaction at his door, and thought she truly needed help. However, once inside Farley yelled something and immediately fled the house, so he contacted police. The officers advised her several times to refrain from acting disorderly. Farley refused and was taken into custody.

However, she became combative with police and refused to comply with the handcuffing procedure. She allegedly kicked Officer Cornacchia in the leg as he was placing her in handcuffs. She also allegedly spit on Officer Mullen as he placed her in the transport wagon. She remained uncooperative during the booking process and was transported directly to Hillsborough County House of Correction.

Officers located seven methadone pills and eight other pills identified as Gabapentin, an anti-seizure medication and controlled drug.

Bail was set for Farley at $2,000 cash/surety. Among the conditions, she must complete the MPD booking process, which includes fingerprints and a mugshot.

Farley was scheduled to appear in District Court on Feb. 9.
