MANCHESTER, NH โ€“ Ralph H. Baer, inventor, innovator and trailblazer, was recently honored with a plaza and statute in Manchester celebrating his life of accomplishment and technological firsts.

As accomplished as he was individually, both Ralph and his wife Dena were strong advocates of paying-it-forward and supporting future technologists โ€“ Ralph setting the example and Dena being a long-time teacher. In support of this history, the Baer family has set up a scholarship fund which will be administered by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation (NHCF).
The purpose of the fund is to support students from Manchester Central High School who show a strong passion for and interest in technology fields. ย This fund is fitting in so many ways, and with all of your help, will support students for decades to come. As epitomized by the very technologies that make this email possible, we will prosper only if we maintain our ability to stay on the frontier of technological changes.
