Get ready for a bright and windy day ahead! Expect plenty of sunshine with temperatures hitting a high of 54 degrees, though it might feel a touch cooler at 47. Hold on to your hats—winds are gusting from the west-northwest at 15-25 mph, with occasional bursts over 40 mph. Perfect weather for a lively outdoor adventure!

* IMPACTS: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Strong winds will down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. A few trees and power lines could be downed. The power outage threat is limited.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Elevations for summits above 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Summits will be obscured with a chance of morning snow. Temperatures will reach the lower 30s, dropping to the mid-20s at elevations above 5,000 feet. Northwest winds will blow at 50 to 60 mph, increasing to 60 to 80 mph at higher elevations. There’s a 40% chance of snow, with wind chill values as low as 8 below zero.

Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today:Summits will be obscured in the morning, with intermittent cloud cover later. There’s a chance of snow in the morning, with highs reaching the mid-30s. Northwest winds will range from 35 to 45 mph, with gusts up to 65 mph. The chance of snow is 50 percent, and wind chill values could drop as low as 8 degrees above zero.
