Elevations for summits above 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: The morning will be mostly cloudy, with mountain summits becoming hidden as the day goes on. Snow showers are possible in the afternoon, with highs near 30 degrees. Southwest winds around 25 mph will shift to the west and pick up to about 35 mph in the afternoon, with gusts reaching up to 65 mph. There’s a 40 percent chance of snow, and wind chills could feel as cold as 1 degree above zero.

Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Mostly cloudy in the morning, with summits gradually becoming obscured. Snow showers are possible in the afternoon, with highs in the mid-30s. Southwest winds will blow at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts reaching up to 50 mph. There’s a 50 percent chance of snow.
