MANCHESTER, NHย โ Hired on to get the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus up and running, Allen Aldenberg, Chief Military and Veterans Services Officer of Easterseals NH & VT, successfully completed his mission. A military Veteran, Aldenberg was a natural choice for Easterseals NH & VT to get the campus operational through the first critical steps. Having achieved this, Aldenberg will now transition responsibilities to new leadership and will remain engaged to support continuity and a smooth transition.
โWe are deeply indebted to Allen for his guidance, wisdom, and passion in getting us to this point,โ says Maureen Beauregard, President & CEO of Easterseals NH&VT.ย โAlโs experience in the military, his relationships with Veterans, his strength, and his energy put us in position for long-term success as we work to serve the evolving needs of Veterans and their families.โ
Having served as Chief of Police with the Manchester, NH Police Department since 2020, Aldenberg joined Easterseals NH leadership in October of 2024 after his retirement from local law enforcement.ย His role was to ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus, focusing on hiring, service provision, transportation, compliance, organizational culture, and other campus matters.
Phase I of the campus, including affordable housing, the retreat and conference center, hub of services for Veteran Service Organizations, Easterseals NHโs Veterans Count programming, and outdoor recreation activities opened recently, on time and on budget.
โThis has been a great opportunity for me, and I am deeply proud of the results of the Easterseals NH team. Collectively, we have laid the groundwork for this unique and incredible place,โ explains Al Aldenberg, Chief of Military & Veterans Services for Easterseals NH & VT. โInitial construction is complete, programs and residence facilities are open and operating, and I believe the campus has already become a beacon for how to serve Veterans in meaningful and impactful ways.โ
Aldenberg will stay on the Franklin leadership team to help facilitate a leadership transition. Phase II, including an equine and therapeutic recreation facility and an aquatics and fitness center, will unfold dependent on additional funding.
โOn behalf of the entire Easterseals NH & VT team โ board of directors, staff, donors, and Veterans, we salute Al for a job well done and mission completed,โ continued Beauregard. โWe are working with Al on the transition plan for the campus and will make an announcement regarding new leadership shortly. In the meantime, our team will continue to provide the best care possible for our Veterans and their families,โ says Beauregard.
