MANCHESTER, NH – The city will again celebrate the Fourth of July a day early – on July 3 – with its annual Day Before Independence Day Celebration at Arms Park, followed by a Fourth of July baseball extravaganza as the Fisher Cats play the Portland Seadogs, followed by a spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks display.

July 3
The city’s official celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. at Arms Park, by the river, with food vendors on site, followed by music by the 39th Army Band, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. and continue until the fireworks begin around dusk.
Admission is free. Note, there will be no alcoholic beverages, no glass bottles and no pets allowed.
Arms Park will close for vehicular traffic at 6 p.m. Commercial Street will be restricted to pedestrians only beginning at 8 p.m. east and westbound spans of the Notre Dame Bridge (Bridge Street) will be closed to all traffic (foot and vehicular) at 8 a.m. on the day of the event for set up.

July 4
NH Fisher Cats Meet the Portand Sea Dogs for a terrific night of baseball rivalry. Ticketholders are invited to partake of the All-American Buffet – which means all the hot dogs, burgers and chips you can eat, happening all weekend in the pavilion. Your ticket comes with a seat in the pavilion. Space is limited! Get your tickets here.
Also, a musical treat – local power pop band Donaher will be on deck for the NH Fishercats 4th of July pre-game show. First set at 5:30 p.m. and encore, just after the fireworks.

July 4 also happens to fall on Thirsty Thursday, which means $3 domestics and $4 import drafts – 12oz – from the 1st & 3rd Base Concession Stands.
After the game, stick around for NH Lottery’s Megabucks Mega Blast Fireworks Extravaganza, the biggest fireworks show of the season.
