On Monday, April 20, Minor League Baseball recognized New Hampshire’s Sean Keys as the Eastern League’s Player of the Week for the week of April 13 through April 19. Keys is the first Fisher Cats player to receive the league’s Player of the Week award since Jace Bohrofen in April of 2025.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to spearhead a complete overhaul of how our fans experience a Fisher Cats game from the food-and-beverage perspective,” said Brad McClennan. “We want our concessions to be a huge reason why people come out to the ballpark. My goal is to eliminate the traditional pain points – such as long wait times, generic menus, etc. – and deliver something different and something better.”

From Oct. 2-Nov. 2, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats organization will host “Fright Nights at the Field: Screaming Line Drive” at Delta Dental Stadium, an immersive experience that Fisher Cats general manager Taylor Fisher hopes will become Manchester’s “flagship fall event.”
The general manager for a minor league baseball team essentially oversees everything that is non-baseball related. From ticket sales, to promotions, to the maintenance of the facilities, to maintaining a good relationship with the city of Manchester, Fisher is constantly spinning plates.
“Many of our players live and die by their walk-up songs,” said the New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ general manager Taylor Fisher. “They love it.”

Only the first game wasn’t the Fisher Cats. Instead, it was a rebranded team named the Manchester Buffalo Tenders, and their starting pitcher Rafael Sanchez just happened to throw a no-hitter, walking only two batters on 90 pitches through seven innings.
