On Thursday, February 13, the Toronto Blue Jays released all their Minor League coaching staff assignments for the 2025 season. For the first time since 2021, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats feature a fresh face at the helm. Brent Lavallee becomes the 12th Fisher Cats manager since the team’s first season in 2004. Lavallee, the 2024 Northwest League Manager of the Year, replaces Cesar Martin, who led the Fisher Cats for the past four seasons.

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (5-17, 35-55) won, 5-4, in thrilling fashion over the Reading Fightin Phils (10-13, 41-51) at Delta Dental Stadium Thursday. Tied 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth, center fielder Garrett Spain blooped a single into shallow center field which scored third baseman Cade Doughty and secured the win.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (1-1, 31-39) were overwhelmed by the Hartford Yard Goats (1-1, 39-31) at Dunkin’ Park on Wednesday night, 12-6. Like Tuesday, the Fisher Cats exploded early, scoring five runs in the first two frames. But Wednesday, the Yard Goats scored 11 unanswered runs from the fourth through sixth innings.

Three home runs and 13 hits powered the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (20-25) to a 13-1 series-clinching victory on Sunday afternoon over the Somerset Patriots (22-23) at Delta Dental Stadium. Third baseman Alex De Jesus clubbed two home runs, first baseman Rainer Nuñez drove in five runs and starting pitcher Adam Macko (W, 3-2) recorded his first Double-A quality start behind nine strikeouts to tie his season-high.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (19-24) dropped a Saturday night contest to the Somerset Patriots (21-22) at Delta Dental Stadium, 5-3. Yankees rehabber Jasson Dominguez clubbed his first home run of 2024 as a two-run shot to put Somerset in front in the seventh inning. New Hampshire’s Michael Turconi and Phil Clarke each had two-hit games.
