The latest honor roll for Memorial High School.

Early Tuesday morning, the Board of School Committee selected Dr. Jenn Gillis to serve as the interim superintendent of Schools for Manchester School District. Former Superintendent Dr. John Goldhardt stepped down as superintendent on Friday, February 11. 

Congratulations are in order for West’s honor roll students.

Manchester Central High School recently released its first-quarter marking period honor roll. The following 437 students achieved academic honors.

More than 600 students recognized for outstanding academics at Memorial.

Manchester School District announced Wednesday that COVID-19 clusters had been identified at two city elementary schools. Out of an abundance of caution, the impacted classes have been temporarily moved to remote status. 

With the 2021-22 school year now under way, Manchester School District and the Manchester Police Department on Thursday urged that families, students and drivers exercise caution and patience around schools.

Kelly Newman, longtime Manchester School District professional, on Monday was named principal of Beech Street School. Her appointment was announced during the Aug. 23 Manchester Board of School Committee meeting.

On Sunday, Manchester School District announced that longtime district administrator Debora Roukey has been selected as the next principal of Central High School.
