Last weekend, for the 20th year, 96.5 The Mill teamed up with three different Hannaford stores in Manchester to collect Tons of Turkeys! This year, we collected over 12 tons of turkey. All of the proceeds benefit The New Hampshire Food Bank to help families in need this holiday season.

Red River Theatres will host on December 7, 2022, at 6 p.m, a one-night-only screening of the 1990 documentary Paris is Burning, followed by a post-film discussion with special guest, Cece Suazo. Paris is Burning chronicles the New York City drag ballroom scene of the 1980s, and is culturally significant for its exploration of race, class, and gender, as well as its recognition of the Black, Latino, gay, and transgender communities that created ball culture.

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) led the New Hampshire congressional delegation in announcing $2,084,533 from the U.S. Department of Treasury for the State of New Hampshire through the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program. These funds, allocated under the ERA2 program authorized by congressional Democrats’ American Rescue Plan Act and signed into law by President Biden, assists New Hampshire renters with rent and other housing expenses, including energy and utility costs.

Peterson Education and Public Service Award for his leadership and support of New Hampshire’s community colleges. On November 3, surrounded by a large gathering of business, civic, political leaders and friends, the former chairman of the CCSNH board was recognized at a celebration at Manchester Community College.
