The city needs to invest funds in creating housing, not just say we support. Also need to look at various types of housing.

We have good plans but they require on-going funding.

Many fees are part of enterprise systems and the funds collected are re-invested.
What are your thoughts on the city’s business climate and how would you attract more businesses to come to Manchester or convince more people to start businesses in Manchester?
We have to have a zero tolerance for unwanted behavior, whether from the homeless or others in the city. We also need to always be proactive in making the permitting process work for the business community. We finally need to continue to fund and staff the Manchester Economic Development Office.
What is your opinion of the state of education in Manchester and what should the relationship be between the Board of School Committee and Board of Mayor and Aldermen?
I think we have a great school district! It is more important than ever that the BOSC and BMA have a strong relationship.
