Five Manchester state reps add voices to letter supporting Warren

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Last week, five of Manchester’s 33 state representatives endorsed U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), signing onto an open letter of support among 50 state representatives across the state.

Constance Van Houten of Hillsborough District #45 (Manchester Wards 10,11 and 12) was one of six new state representatives adding their endorsement to Warren’s list last week.

Other state representatives from Manchester endorsing Warren prior to last week adding their names to the letter include Christopher Hebert (Hillsborough #43 – Ward 4,5,6,7), Jacqueline Chretien (Hillsborough #42 – Ward 1,2,3), Nicole Klein-Knight (Hillsborough #11 – Ward 4) and Patrick Long (Hillsborough #10 – Ward 3).

“Elizabeth’s record shows that she is a leader who will put the interests of working people first,” said Long. “She has the experience and character our next president must have, and will fight to make sure our government works for everyone. She sees our problems clearly and has a plan to tackle them head on. I trust her to keep leading the fight for working families as President.”
