MANCHESTER, NH – Teachers and staff at Gossler Park Elementary School received a well-deserved boost of appreciation last Thursday and Friday during parent-teacher conferences, thanks to Grappone Ford’s Mobile Oil Change Service. The dealership, based in Bow, partnered with Manchester Proud and the Manchester School District to provide free oil changes for educators—right in the school parking lot.

The event was organized as part of ongoing efforts to support and celebrate Manchester’s dedicated educators by meeting everyday needs in meaningful ways. Grappone Ford generously offered their mobile oil change service as a donation event, providing service for up to 10 vehicles per day and offering to return for future multi-day events to reach even more school staff.

“Grappone Ford in Bow is pleased to recognize the hard working educators who show up every day ready to serve. It’s a small gesture, but we hope that by providing oil changes on site, we can give them some of their precious time back,” Amanda Grappone Osmer, Chief Vision Officer, Grappone Automotive, said.

The mobile team performed oil changes for all makes and models, coordinating with staff in advance to ensure the right oil and filters were available for each vehicle.

“Thank you to Grappone Ford’s Mobile Service crew for being an amazing community partner!  What an amazing opportunity to fill the tanks (oil) of our teachers as they engaged in conferences. I say it all the time, the care and depth of our partnerships make our district stronger – Thank you!,”  said district Superintendent. Dr. Jennifer Chmiel.

“We are so grateful to Grappone Ford for offering free oil changes to our teachers! They sent their Mobile Oil Change Service to our school and got the service done while our teachers were hard at work! Manchester Proud needs to be commended for organizing this amazing opportunity. This generous act truly shows the power of being a community school where amazing partners like Manchester Proud and Grappone Ford come together to support our staff and strengthen our school community,” Lori Upham, Principal, Gossler Park Elementary School, said.

This creative collaboration reflects the community spirit behind Manchester Proud’s mission: to connect partners across the city in ways that lift up students, families, and educators alike.
