Why should someone vote for you? (i.e. – what’s your “elevator pitch” when talking to voters?)
I was born and raised in Manchester. My wife Kerri and I raised our 3 kids here and we want to make Manchester affordable for them. I will always run on supporting public safety and public education.
If elected/re-elected, what steps would you endorse to address the issue of homelessness in the city?
This is a country wide problem, I will always be open to new ideas and working with everyone involved to address this complicated issue.
If elected/re-elected, what steps would you endorse to address the issue of housing costs?
Build, build, build! We have to work with local builders to support all levels of housing. Encouraging Zoning and Planning Boards to remove barriers builders face to get projects completed.

If elected/re-elected, what steps would you endorse to address the issue of attracting and retaining quality city employees?
First of all, we have the best employees in the State! I was proud to be part of developing the City wide compensation study. We always have to listen to our employees to get feedback. Issues like benefits, vacation time, childcare and pay are are very important and we need to be aware of what other municipalities and businesses are offering.
What is your perspective on the city’s roads, transit system and parking? If you believe improvement is needed, how would you accomplish that?
The city streets are always being examined by DPW and funding is important to keep travel safe and roads pothole free. Manchester Transit does a great job and we should be flexible if a need changes and routes need to be altered.
What is your opinion on the city’s parks, library and entertainment offerings/public events? If improvement is needed, what should be done?
The city parks are a great resource for the residents of the city and we need to them clean and accessible and safe for everyone to enjoy them. I think we should talk about and advertise all of what Manchester has to offer! Our library is a great place for people to gather and The Palace and Rex Theater are gems for our city. The Currier Museum of Art is a world class treasure. We need to celebrate these and so much more that Manchester has to offer!

What is your opinion on the city’s policies regarding property taxes and other fees (i.e. – pet licenses, parking meters, etc.)
Elected officials should always willing to examine all city policies, taxes and fees!
What are your thoughts on the city’s business climate and how would you attract more businesses to come to Manchester or convince more people to start businesses in Manchester?
The Manchester Economic Development office is a key partner for city businesses. We need to support that department so they continue to help the business atmosphere in the city. we can never say enough about the Manchester Airport, that is an economic engine for business in the entire region and that certainly helps to attract business to Manchester.
What is your opinion of the state of education in Manchester and what should the relationship be between the Board of School Committee and Board of Mayor and Aldermen?
I graduated from the Manchester School District as well as our 3 kids. They have had many great opportunities and many phenomenal educators involved in their education and would recommend it to any families. Children are our most precious resource and we need to help Educators bring them to their full potential. Both Boards should always work together to reach these goals.
Anything else you’d like to add not mentioned here and what is the best way voters can reach you if they have more questions?
I am asking for your vote on September 16th and would be honored to again serve the residents of Manchester.
