MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police have arrested Jonathan Santiago Torres, 39, of Manchester in connection with two separate criminal incidents that happened earlier this year.

The first incident took place in May when a man was shot at a residence on Spruce Street. The injuries were non-life-threatening.
The second occurred in late August and involved a car being intentionally set on fire. The blaze spread to two other vehicles and also damaged a neighboring building on Cartier Street.
Following investigations, police developed probable cause linking Torres to both incidents.
Warrants were issued and on Thursday Torres was arrested. He was charged with first-degree assault with a rirearm, felon in possession of a deadly weapon, and arson.
Torres is being held pending a court hearing.
